Approach

We met at Utah State, fell in love there, and have been photographing weddings together ever since. Jessie taught middle school history for five years before this, which turns out to be excellent training for keeping a room of a hundred people calm and moving.

We work for connection rather than perfection. That means very little posing, a lot of paying attention, and a wedding day that feels closer to spending it with friends than being directed by two photographers you hired. The pictures that last are the ones nobody arranged.

We take a limited number of weddings each year so every couple gets both of us properly. Away from the camera we are Disney Parks people, Jazz fans, Harry Potter and Broadway nerds, and parents to two who keep us honest.
